The Pink October movement was created in 1990 by the Susan G. Komen Foundation for Healing, USA, as an international initiative to raise awareness about breast cancer prevention.

According to INCA’s own data, it is estimated that Brazil will have more than 66,000 new cases of the disease during the year 2021. Prevention, without a doubt, is one of the most essential weapons for patients and, during Pink October, women are warned of the importance of preventive exams.
